This is entrenched in our core values as Christians. This value is taken from a lesson that Christ taught his followers. The law required anyone to carry a Roman soldiers shield and spear one mile if they we asked. Jesus instructed his followers to carry it ’a second mile’ it is in the second mile that they will see wh ose you really are”. It is our hope that you will see Christ in the second mile as we work to honor him in all we do. Matthew 5:41 “…if anyone requires you to go one mile, go also the second mile.”
